I'd say San Juan, Dominican Republic. Or according to USA Today the best snowboarding is at: Whistler, British Columbia, Mammoth Lakes, Calif.; Breckenridge, Colo.; Park City, Utah and Big Bear Lake, Calif. According to GORP.com Stowe, Vermont has ''the best snowboarding in North America.'' Ciao!

try heavenly ski resort in south lake tahoe calif.

Anywhere around South Shore at Lake Tahoe typically has good powder.

l know it is expensive but Jackson Hole Wyoming is not a bad choice

Utah has the lowest water content combined with plentiful snowfall due to the lake effect from the salt lake. It even is the logo on the license plate. There may be better snow for skiing but not near any resort. Grande Targee can be good

Grand Targhee in northern WY; any place in the Jackson Hole vicinity but ESPECIALLY Grand Targhee; l lived there for 3 1/2 years. Also Heavenly (by rumor.)

Personally, the best l experienced was Mammoth, but l would love to try Whistler someday. Heard it is awesome.

If you have a helicopter handy, Alaska is very good.
