The reason the goggles fog is the difference in temperature between the air inside the goggles & the outside air. The warmer air if wet inside the goggles will cause fogging. Think of what happens to ur car on a cold winter night.

Yes u can buy products to apply to ur goggles to prevent the fog. Rain-X will not do anything as it is a water-repellant. l recommend the ones for swimming goggles. The large brands Speedo or TYR make them. Less than $5 at most sporting equipment stores.

Benefit of using anti-fog drops is ur goggles r plastic & swim goggles r plastic. If u put things like grease not designed for goggle surfaces u might ruin the goggle surface permanently. As always test on a corner before applying to the entire goggle.
