l am havning trouble with my spinning beacuse especially when I am doing laybacks l loose a lot of speed and some times my balance as well and am not too sure what exactly l am doing wrong. Any suggestions?

use ur arms to cross them on ur chest and gather up all ur energy by skating quickly then spinning.

Ask a pro to watch you and tell you. Try bending your knees more or less, if you're learning/experimenting on your own. Good luck.

l would try the best professional help you can find even if it is expensive in return you might just get lucky and become a a famous figure skater.

use your arms and spin them inwards to chest. and start on your toe pick to give you a push start

yeah.. l have that problem as well.
this sounds funny, but you have to stick out your stomache and hips and really lift your back; then lean back. my coach said that too many people just wanna lean back, especially because of the name! yea that should help a bit.
