Not cheap as in bad, but cheap as in inexpensive.
My daughter wants to do ski school this year. It is just a 6 week program up in Stevens Pass, so somewhere that l could rent skis would be good.

ebay?

You could go to a ski swap. That way you can get stuff from a season or two ago and it will be at a really good price.

garage sales/yard sales. better than ebay cause u get to see them before you buy them. l found a good as new snowboard for $40. also search for craigslist on google. on craigs list, its town specific listings.

Check out a used sporting goods store like Play It Again Sports. They should have lots of kids skis from kids that grew out of them. Good luck!

Ebay & garage sales r a good start, but ur best bet is to go to a local ski swap. At a swap u have a good chance of finding what u want among the selection & more than likely it will be at a substantial discount compared to buying new. And with a swap the sellers tend to know what their talking about so if u have any questions they should be able to point u in the right direction or set u up with the right equipment. Call ur local ski/snowboard shop & ask them about ski swaps. More than likely they will know when or where they r going on.

try finding some ski swaps they probably have some in your area they are usually at some ski mountains and some highschools or junior highs. they have used equipment and you might find some good equipment for a steal. or you could look around for shops trying to sell last years modles which usually happens a few months before the ski season opens up.
hope this helps
