But l am a 20 year old female l am 5'5 and 140 IBS. Not sure if that is important info to buy a board. It is a Division 23 CCS board for 50.00 do you think it is a good deal?
Oh ya and l am not looking for the best board or anything. l am learning and just want something really cheap and that wont fall apart when l use it. Thanks!

ccs boards arnt that good,, go for burton or rome

If you're not looking for much in a board & only have $50 to spend then it is not too bad a deal.

Keep in mind that, that board is at least 10 years old (and Solid stopped making boards & bindings when l was in high school so it could be as much as 13 years old) & l seriously doubt it has only been used 4 or 5 times in that time. There r no close up shots of the base & I'd like to see if it still has camber. Boards r all built so that they have camber & r not flat. As a board gets older it loses its flex & goes flat, this is bad. Even if it has not been ridden much a board that old can lose camber if it is just stored incorrectly.

Also, the company is Division 23. CCS is California Cheap Skates & is an online retailer, not a manufacturer of snowboards. Only the bag comes from them.

l would look elsewhere. In snowboarding the saying ''You get what u pay for'' is very true. Save up so more money & do a little more research & get something better.

You have no idea if there are any core shots, edge delaminations, etc. There might be 30 holes under the bindings.the thing could break in half on the second day.

That $50 board could end up costing you a lot more.

Any time you buy something like a board, bike, whatever sight un-seen, you are asking for potential problems. l would advise taking Paul is advice.

l would spend a little more on a better board and bindings - you wo not regret it! Spend a few more $$$ now and you wo not have to upgrade later when your skills are better .

l think its to small for you.. l am a level 3 instructor and l hate to see people on to short of a board. Its actually easy to turn a little longer board. Do not be scared of the speed it will help you learn. Please buy a brand name used board Burton, Salomon, option extra it will be worth the money.

ya thats a good board for 50 dollars but its pretty old. if you dont mind riding an antique than its a great board
