We have unfortunately moved to Corpus Christi, TX , where the beaches may be nice but there're no mountains and no snow. To make room in our small house l would like to store my board out in the shed, but I am worried the heat might warp it. What do you think?

Where we live, the summers are hot and our attic (where we store skis) is even hotter. It should not mess it up at all, if you will be using it for next season and it will get periodical (seasonal) breaks from the heat.

You should not have any problem storing your board in the shed. It wo not warp. You might have a problem with the wax though. l would recommend stripping that off before storage.

the only problem you might have is WAX. Other than that it should be fine.

Heat is the last thing your board needs. Throw the thing under your bed or hang it on a wall somewhere in the house. They sell wall hangers for boards. Heat kills plastic and breaks it down. If you want your board to last longer keep it indoors out of the heat and humidity in your area. Metal rust. Glues come undone from heat.

Do not keep it in there, it is not good to keep a board in high heat. It might not warp, but l would not take the chance.

l would not keep it in your shed. It could mess up your wax. And if you have an older board, it might warp.

um you should be alright. l store my board in my attic and it is really hot in there in the summer. l wax it and store it in there during the off season. just make sure when you first take it out for the winter check everything out and make sure it is rideable.
