l recently bouhgt a burton cruzer 135 on ebay, it was used a couple times, so pretty good condition, however the surface is not smooth and shiny (like a layer of like, plastic/acrylic) on top... like the burton punch 138 l used back then. or other snowboards i've seen

instead it was sorta rough and papery?
it is already used...so there anything l can do about it? like am l supposed to put a layer of protection on it? like hot wax or whatever?

or is it like a lost case?

but it seems like it is less durable than a snowboard that has the shiny topcoat?

it feels LESS durable than the shiny topsheet ^ like the edge of the board is lifting up, like it is LACKING a topcoat rather than a better coat...

your best bet would probably be bringing it to a specialty shop. they would know how to fix it

It sounds like u got the rental version of the Cruzer. It is built with a topsheet that is much more durable than the smooth, glossy topsheets of the retail version. Other than that the rental & retail versions r exactly the same.

There really is not any thing u can do to ''fix'' the board as there is nothing wrong with it. You can try & contact who u bought it from but l doubt u will get much satisfaction there.

Hopefully it does not bother u too much as there really is no difference.
