Why is Curling a topic an LaCrosse isn't

Lacrosse (lower-case c) is not a familiar-enough sport with most North Americans to warrant its own category. It is big in the east (New York to Virginia), in Colorado, & in California. Most other areas have only barely heard of it or r just getting into it in the last five to ten years. Outside NA, it is not even that common, with most other countries not fielding a respectable NATIONAL team.

In contrast, everybody in Canada knows about curling, as well as many in the USA, & it is an Olympic sport, which means it is played & televised worldwide.

because even though it is like the greatest sport ever... not very many people know enough about it to enjoy it.
