l been looking at the website and l would really like to get the Royale,but l seen other boards the would be good also. any advice?

Any Burton is going to be a good board. And it is far better than a rental. Since your just a beginner l would not go to crazy with your first board. But you did a real nice job on picking a brand, because Burton is and always will be the best.

burton makes great boards but if you are just starting you can get any other brand that will just as good fro you right now!!! once you get better you can get a burton and you will be able to tell the difference!!

Dont get me wrong burton is sick but if ur going to focus on freestyle like rails and jumps go with a forum. look into the destroyer. If ur not into that kinda thing than any burton would be fine.

first make sure the board that u want is the right size (cm) & second it depends on what u want to do on the board. if u want to do a lot of terrain u will want a more felixable board & if u want to do more downhill then u will want a stiffer board & if u want to do both get one thats stiff but felixable. but u shouldnt but one that u love for one seasona & the next season u hate it u want to find that u will like for a few seasons because they r good for a few seasons (about 300-500 days of being on the snow)

If you,ve only recently learned how to snowboard u might be best off going for a burton clash as it will be the easyest to ride. But if u have learned how to turn properly & u feel reasonably comfortable & stable when riding a Royle would be a good choice as would an Air. Boards like the Dominant & the
Blunt although not actually begineer boards r easy to ride also as they r very light & flexable, but as they r freestyle/ jib boards they r not so good if u want to race down the mountain at high speeds. It depends what u r looking for & what sort of riding u want to do, but pick the board thats right for u based on ur level of riding, what sort of riding u want to do, height, weight & shoe size, do not pick a board just because u like the graffics.

All the Burton Boards are good! And do not buy Ride Boots, they fall apart and the company wo not stand by their product.

l would suggest buying a Burton snowboard on craigslist. Lots of good deals especially for a beginner who may not know exactly what you need. The size of the board is most important. for example l am 6ft tall and my board is 160cm. As a beginner you should not spend more than $300 for the board and bindings. You can buy better equipment as you progress.
