they give you blisteres if you wear them and skate regularly.

i leaves huge blisters tho. and it takes like 10 days to break in.

This is common. The best way to break in a pair of skates is to skate in them.you can also wear them at home while you're not skating (just do not walk around in them!). Choice of sock is also important.do not wear anything thick, just wear a normal thin white sock :-)

you might wanna get them heat molded. as your pro shop if they can do it with your specific boots. they heat the boot and then you put your foot in for a little while and the warm leather molds to the shape of your foot making them a lot more comfortable. all the top skaters do this.

You can heat mold ur boots at home as well. Just place ur oven on 175, place the boots in for about 5 min. or until they r pretty warm to the touch, then carefully put them on & tie them. Let them cool completely on ur feet. Double check to make sure the ur boots r heat moldable though.

Also, if u have hard guards, put ur skates on at home, & walk around in them, just make sure u put ur walking gaurds on. Bend at the ankles, stretch, do whatever u feel will help break them in.

My daughters r both very competitive figure skaters, they also do not tie the top notch on their skates until they r broke in. l do not know why this works, but they say it does.

You can also go to ur pro shop & get ur boots punched out. Figure out where they hurt the most, & tell ur pro shop, & they will punch them out where u say hurts the most.

Unfortunately, it takes about two weeks to break in a new pair of skates, & that is if u skate pretty much everyday. My daughters hate getting new skates. l hope this helps.
