If it is already painted wood, just do a good job of surface prep (cleaning and sanding to provide a good surface for the paint).

If it is fiberglass, there are probably some primers (they have them for plastics now) made to adhere to it, but you might have to use a gel coat.

If it is new you might want to check your warranty to be sure this wo not void it.

in my opinion, you shouldnt do it unless its like a dirt board or somethin, like you dont really care about it. l did it once wit one of my old boards (fiberglass) and after a lil riding, the paint faded a ton and it just looked real bad. like, horrible. lol. but idk if it will work, but if you put a fresh layer of stuff over the paint to use as a protective layer, then that might work.

good luck

It will void all warranties so keep that in mind. Next be sure to sand the board with a fine grit sand paper to make sure the paint adheres. If not the paint will just chip off and create a huge mess. You will want to get an epoxy based paint. it will hold up a lot longer and wo not have to deal with the fading issue. Start with your solid base coat then have at it. turn that peace of crap into a work of art.

dont spray paint it cuz it mite drip down to other side of the board and mess it up. for my board l use fast dry paint and l use a very small brush for the edge. then l use normal brush for inbetween edges
