Is chamonix the best ski area in Europe

The Name

l went there last year, and aside from the fact that it is cheaper than the Rocky's, l found no reason to go back.Are there any ski areas in Europe that compare to say, Vail, Snowbird, or Jackson Hole?

There are many ski areas in Europe that for me are superior to the States. Courcheval in the Three Valleys, Verbier in Switzerland and St Anton are but a few, it all depends what you are looking for from a ski holiday and how good a skier you are.
There are vast ski areas and superb places for Apres -ski throughout Europe.
