everyone has a dream, mine happens to be getting to the olympics by alpine skiing, now l know i'm a great skier, advanced, l ski all terrain, however l do not race, l planned to start this year until l tore my ACL and recently had surgery. plus, l do not attend a high school with a ski team, only ski club, and the school itself does not have even 1000 kids enrolled, (that is elementary, middle, and high school), impossible to get into a good college by alpine racing. however, it is still nice to dream.

what is yours?
thanks just_hanging, l realize what you're saying, and l do not come from a rich, preppy family that is going to suddenly ship me off to boarding school. i will just keep getting better and maybe with luck can find a way to take lessons in years to follow and race in college.

my dream is to take all my dreams into the world with me when l awaken. This is possible, to some extent, how much you believe your dream is true can help opportunities manifest in reality.

Keep at it! You will get to the Olympics someday if you keep practicing!! Never give up.

My dream is to be a singer/astronaut/mom. Seriously! l am going try my hardest to achieve my dreams. You should too. You would not only be doing yourself a favor but you would be setting a good example for kids. We need more goal oriented people in the world.

l used to race, my sister was one of the top 10 or so in NY state during her prime, my mom nearly made the national team back in the day. If u dream, u can achieve. Unfortunately, ski racing is one of those sports where money plays such a big part, & circumstances. For a best case shot at ur dream, u would need to convince ur parents to send u to a boarding school in NY or NH for training. Good luck with that!!

My current dream is to stay good enough at skiing to hang with my two daughters for many years. They r 7 & 9, & already quite good. l do not intend to introduce them to ski racing. It is too preppy these days, filled with rich people, for my tastes.
