The shops in my area hold ski/snowboard swaps where you can get a great used board at a fraction of the price.

Sometimes last year is new snowboards will be on a great sale at the snowboard shops as well.

If your low on money its not a bad idea to go for one of last years models, as it will most probably be the same board as is being sold this year just with the old graphics and for half the price.
But l think the board that is best value for money is the Atomic Hatchet l can not understand why they sell these so cheap. Truly an excellent board for the money and one of the few boards that can be ridden by both a beginner and advanced rider.

Im a big Lib-tech fan. Their decks usually run about 500.
