Depends on your age. If you're in school, practice and try out for the team. If you are older, go to the open try outs. They usually advertise them. Just make sure you are prepared with an original routine.

Join your school is team. It helps if you can do a cart wheel or the splits, especially if your older. Attitude counts for a lot. Try hard, learn the cheers and choreography.
