When the olympics were on l watched it every morning with my coffee and bagle at work. l did not really get it, but l enjoyed watching it as much as any other sport.

You should try it some day. You will see that sweeping the ice for a few hours is definitely more physically difficult than a lot of other stuff that are called sports (baseball, bowling, .)

sweeping is a skill and balance on ice requires skill.
There is competition, it is in the Olympics, so l question other so called sports, like golf, tennis and ping pong.
