it may differ depending on where you play, but l think it is the norm that when the bell rings, you get to finish the end you are currently playing.

Well, here in Canada, the rule is: You have a specific amount of time to play the whole game. Generally 7 & a half minutes per team, per end. (Time gets started when the other teams rock stops, & finishes when ur team is rock stops) When time runs out, you're done. No more rocks. If u still have 2 rocks, too bad, time is up. If the other team still has time on their clock, they get to keep playing until either their time runs out, or they finish the game. Hardly ever happens, but it does.
