why we have should winter Olympic in Canada in Vancouver, when we have so many poor and homeless on street and they need help, every things was expensive and now more then ever because of this winter Olympic 2010, BC government are going take more and more money from us in BC for this Olympic, life not became easy but became so difficult, were we can ask to stop this?

Its a little late now to try to stop it, but hopefully the olympics will bring some extra cash to the province.

You can not stop it. The time to stop it was during the bidding process. Waiting till the bidding is done, and the Games are awarded is a bit late. And no one will be surprised that holding the Olympics will end up costing the federal, provincial and municipal government a lot of cash.

100% Agree dear, all the way! Do not get me wrong, as a Canadian l would be so honoured to have the winter Olympic 2010, BC. BUT noway could we afford it, let be reasonable here, AT WHAT COST AND HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE PUT OUT IN THE COLD???

And that my friends is the cold reality! Who can even afford to go see them? Not l said the medium classed hard worker, whom can even afford to take my child to a hockey game, as such a high cost!

Whatever happened to the family outings? Not in this life time & sad to say maybe never for the great grandchildren of the future!
