l am going to have ACL reconstruction very soon.....would anyone know how long will it take for me to walk properly after the surgery without crutches?

Ask your surgeon for a range of time schedule. l think it is about 6-8 weeks of cast and crutches time. Almost a year for full rehab for most skiers it is a season ending injury.
