l have curly hair and sidebangs- actually, they're a mix of sidebangs and regular ones, and although l blowdry and flatiron them in the morning, they curl up by noon! what am l doing wrong?thnx!

When ever you straighten them spray a little hairspray on them

Try using some mousse when it is wet then blow dry them straight. If you live in a humid city, like Chicago, by the end of the day they will curl up no matter what. But at least with the mousse it will be awhile before they curl up. also, you can hairspray them after blowdrying to keep them that way.

If you have really curly hair, there is nothing that can be done about it curling back up by noon. You will just have to keep a flat iron with you and at noon re straighten it. You can not make curly hair stay flat forever. It is going to re curl within the day. Even the stars have people that keep up with their hair throughout the day. Maybe you can go to the salon and try getting a relaxer done. That might help a little.

Its because on our foreheads, we tend to sweat, & the moisture, makes ur bangs curl.
l will tell you, l have the best product from ''BedHead' l think its called ''Straight as a Stick'' or something like that, has to do with straightening the hair, it locks the moisture out so it wont curl.
l have to use it on mine in the winter, not alot in the summer unless it rains.
Its kinda pricey, but worth it!! All BedHead products r wonderful!!
Probably in between $12.00 to $25.00 depending on what size bottle u get.

you are doing nothing wrong

just humidity - the air and your body keeps it at a water level that means curls.

Just take a mini flat iron in your purse and do quick touch ups during the day- at lunch time
takes two minutes

It will be easier when it gets colder weather-
if you live in a place that gets colder.

And you will love your curls- when ?
sometime soon.
